ESPEWE 95282 H0 IFA W50 LA/MK5 Muldenkipper, Bj. 1969 Product Details

Description

In 2024, the long-desired D035 fertilizer spreader body is added to the range, providing the basis for further use on the IFA W50 and IFA L60 chassis. In addition to their use in agriculture, these spreader bodies were also widely used for winter road maintenance. The fire department and NVA vehicles are followed by an IFA W50 from VEB Minol. This year, models from various motor transport companies will also be included. Of course, a few new variants of the EsPeWe replica models of the IFA S4000 tank fire engine and Robur LO 2500 bus will also be included.

The W50 was designed in over 70 basic variants with different superstructures. In addition to the flatbed vehicle, the tipper version was the most widespread and produced in the highest numbers from Ludwigsfelde. The body of the dump truck, originally developed in the special vehicle factory in Berlin, was presented at the Leipzig trade fair in 1969. The vehicles were finally manufactured in Dessau at the rationalization plant of the public utility industry. The wide low-pressure tires noticeably increased off-road mobility. The W50 was suitable both for new development areas, where there were hardly any paved roads during the construction phases, and for difficult terrain.
