With ESU's modular loudspeaker set for two miniature loudspeakers, you can put together the right sound capsule yourself. Both the diameter and the height can be easily customized. The use of two speakers connected in parallel generates an enormous sound pressure level with very good sound reproduction.

The well-known "sugar cube" speaker with a size of 11 × 15 mm and an impedance of 8 ohms is supplied with an airtight mounting plate. First choose from the three base frames whether you want to build a round speaker with 28 mm or a rectangular one with 16 × 35 mm or 20 × 40 mm. Once the two speakers have been inserted into the base frame, the height of the sound capsule can be determined in the second step. The minimum height is 6 mm and can be increased to 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm or 13 mm by fitting up to three spacer rings. Two intermediate rings with a height of 2 mm and one ring with a height of 3 mm are supplied. These can be easily fitted using plastic adhesive.

The higher the sound capsule, the better the bass reproduction. It is worth making the best possible use of all the space available for the sound capsule.
