ESU 50718 Interior Lighting H0 – Digital, Flexible, and Warm White

The ESU 50718 interior lighting brings realistic lighting conditions to your H0 passenger cars. With a length of 264 mm, 13 warm-white LEDs, and an integrated digital decoder, this lighting module can be easily adapted to different car lengths. The even illumination creates an atmospheric look on your model railroad layout—without any flickering.

The circuit board consists of a 74 mm long base module with four LEDs and an integrated decoder. This is followed by eight segments, each with one LED, spaced 24 mm apart. Thanks to pre-scored break lines, the sections can be individually adjusted. In addition, there are two detachable sections at each end, each 4.5 mm wide and featuring an LED to illuminate the entry areas.

Individual Control and Reliable Operation

The brightness of the LEDs can be conveniently adjusted via a potentiometer or using software CV. An integrated constant-voltage source ensures consistent brightness—regardless of the current track voltage. A built-in buffer capacitor prevents brief power interruptions. For maximum operational reliability, the ESU PowerPack supercapacitor (Item No. 50710) can also be connected, which continues to power the lighting for a few seconds in the event of a power outage.

The interior lighting comes standard with a red tail light—ideal for control or end cars. This makes the ESU 50718 set a flexible and technically sophisticated solution for any model railroader who wants to upgrade their cars to look realistic.
