The new ESU PowerPack Mini can optionally be connected to all ESU decoders of the fourth generation (LokPilot V4.0, LokPilot micro V4.0, LokSound Fx V4.0, LokSound V4.0, LokSound micro V4.0 or LokSound V4.0 M4) and supplies the locomotive and supplies the locomotive reliably with power, when passing over dirt tracks and long switch roads. The energy storage buffers the sound, light and motor functions, so that the locomotive, depending on power consumption, can continue to run for up to up to 3 seconds without power. Furthermore, the PowerPack Mini has an integrated charging circuit, which is controlled by the decoder and can therefore remain in the locomotive during programming. The charging current is also limited to prevent excessive load on your booster if multiple models are in use. The buffer time can be limited by means of a CV on the decoder side, so that red signals also lead to an exact signal stop. A 3-pin cable connection is required between decoder and PowerPack Mini. The cable is already soldered to the PowerPack Mini, but must be soldered on the decoder side itself.
