Faller 190096 H0 Special Offer Set: Halloween at the Old Town Tower

Faller 190096 H0 Special Offer Set: Halloween at the Old Town Tower Product Details

Description

Are you looking for an H0 promotional set that will give your model railroad layout a spooky Halloween atmosphere?

The Faller 190096 Halloween at the Old Town Tower Special Set brings an exceptionally spooky scene to your model railroad layout. The old town tower soars high above the rooftops of the miniature town, and its imposing appearance instantly creates a mysterious atmosphere. Its walls cast long, menacing shadows into the alleys, making the set a striking focal point for anyone who wants to decorate their H0 layout in a Halloween-themed way.

This set combines the character of a historic old town tower with eerie decorative elements. The tower’s light-colored half-timbered facade appears ghostly pale in the described setting, underscoring the gloomy effect. The result is a building that not only stands out as an architectural model but also tells an entire Halloween story on the model layout.

Faller 190096 Halloween at the Old Town Tower in H0 scale

This special offer set is built to a 1:87 scale and is therefore suitable for H0 gauge. As a product type, it belongs to the “Buildings” category and, with its tower, annex, old town wall, staircase, and decorative elements, provides a cohesive foundation for a spooky miniature scene.

The dimensions are 124 x 98 x 383 mm and 200 x 48 x 120 mm. The height of the tower, in particular, makes the model a striking feature on the layout. Thanks to its size and design, the Old Town Tower can occupy a central position and immediately draw attention.

Old Town Tower with Annex and Old Town Wall

The set includes a tower with an extension, which creates an impressive effect thanks to its tall design. The watchful-looking tower dominates the scene and fits perfectly into an old town setting with a mysterious or seasonal atmosphere. The building is complemented by an old town wall with stairs, which expands the scene’s sense of space.

The combination of the tower, extension, and wall ensures that the set isn’t just a single building, but can be used as a small, cohesive Halloween backdrop. The staircase on the old town wall adds another visible detail to the scene and makes the layout more varied.

Spooky Details for the Halloween Scene

Particularly striking are the decorative elements that give the set its unmistakable Halloween character. Bloody icicles, pumpkins, and skulls create an eerie effect. They make the Old Town Tower appear as if it has become the centerpiece of a spooky midnight gathering.

The iron cage with a 3D-printed skeleton is also included in the set. This detail further enhances the spooky scene and serves as a special eye-catcher within the set. Combined with the pumpkins, skulls, and bloody elements, it creates a Halloween decoration that goes far beyond an ordinary building model.

The Hour of the Ghosts on the Model Railroad Layout

The set’s description evokes a distinct atmosphere: the wind whispers around the walls, the tower watches over the miniature town, and the tower clock strikes the hour of the ghosts on Halloween. This narrative effect makes the Faller special offer set particularly appealing to model railroaders who want to do more than just place buildings on their layout—they want to create small, atmospheric scenes.

The Old Town Tower is ideal for creating a spooky Halloween corner on an H0 layout. The combination of a light-colored half-timbered facade, a tall tower, the Old Town wall, and spooky decorative elements creates a scene that immediately catches the eye and can make a particularly strong impression in a miniature town.
