Are you looking for an authentic extension for your Deutsche Bundesbahn car train set? With the set of 2 Ddm car transport coaches in N scale, Fleischmann brings two typical Era IV passenger coaches to your layout - ideal for prototypical long-distance trains with car transport!
The type Ddm car transport coaches were specially designed for the car train service of the German Federal Railroad. They transported cars together with their owners on long-distance services across Germany and Europe. These wagons shaped the image of many passenger trains from the 1960s onwards and were a familiar sight at stations and on main lines until well into the 1980s.
The set contains two finely engraved, true-to-scale Ddm wagons in Era IV design. With a total length of 330 mm over buffers, they offer an impressive presence and can still be used on N layouts without any problems. Thanks to close coupler couplers in accordance with NEM 355, a close wagon formation is possible - for a particularly prototypical look.
Can be ideally combined with express locomotives such as the BR 103, BR 110 or BR 218 of the German Federal Railroad. Complete the set with couchette and sleeping cars to create a complete car train from the 1970s and 80s - a highlight on any Era IV layout!
