Are you looking for something special for your Era IV layout? With the exclusive set of 2 double-decker prototype cars from VEB Waggonbau Görlitz, Fleischmann brings a unique piece of GDR railroad history to your N-gauge layout - limited, rich in detail and with an enclosed certificate!
In 1971, VEB Waggonbau Görlitz delivered two single car prototypes of the DBmue type to the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The idea: more flexibility with fluctuating passenger volumes and lower maintenance costs. These vehicles formed the basis for series production of around 138 double-decker coaches, which began in 1974.
Fleischmann has produced these special vehicles with great attention to detail. The models have finely engraved car bodies, true-to-original printing and a detailed interior. The set is available as a one-off special edition with an accompanying certificate - a real collector's item for DR fans!
With an overall length over buffers of 334 mm and NEM 355 couplers with KK kinematics, the cars are ideal for use behind typical DR-E locomotives such as the BR 211, BR 243 or BR 250. Retrofitting with interior lighting (item no. 4080001) is possible and further increases the realism.
The Fleischmann 6260094 set is a must for collectors and all those who want to enrich their GDR model railroad with authentic and rare vehicles. Now available in the model railroad store - only while stocks last!
