EW IV - Swiss comfort for regional traffic

Since their introduction, the standard coaches IV (EW IV) have been among the most important passenger coaches in Swiss long-distance and regional transport. In the Voralpen-Express, they connected regions away from the main axes in a comfortable manner. This set combines two of these cars in SOB (2nd class) and BT (1st class) design - typical for the time of cooperation between the two railroad companies.

Coherent set with two types of cars

The set contains an EW-IV 2nd class coach of the SOB and an EW-IV 1st class coach of the BT. Both models are finely engraved, realistically printed and equipped with detailed interior fittings. The NEM 355 coupler with close coupler link allows the cars to be coupled closely and easily integrated into existing sets. Retrofitting with interior lighting (item no. 946901) is possible.
