With the Fleischmann 6660131 you get a typical freight wagon model of the German Federal Railroad from epoch IV on your N-gauge layout. The telescopic hood wagon impresses with its prototypical functionality with sliding hoods and two removable coils as cargo - perfect for realistic operating scenes in steel transportation.
In the 1970s and 1980s, telescopic hood wagons were an integral part of DB freight transport. Specially designed for transporting steel coils, the sliding hoods protected the sensitive cargo from the weather. This wagon can also be used on the model railroad to authentically depict modern industrial and factory traffic of Era IV.
The middle hoods of the wagon can be moved - a rare feature in N-gauge that provides additional depth of play. The two coils included can be removed to simulate different loading situations on the layout. With a length over buffers of 94 mm, the wagon fits perfectly into typical freight trains of the time.
The wagon is equipped with an NEM 355 coupling shaft and close coupling kinematics, which ensures close wagon transitions and reliable operation. The detailed implementation with fine engravings and authentic lettering makes it a real eye-catcher in the operational service of your layout.
