Heavy goods transport on Austria's rails

Steel girder transports were a common sight on main and branch lines in Era IV. The type Kbs wagons with stanchions included here were used to safely transport heavy loads such as sectional steel. The elaborately aged load makes for a particularly realistic impression on the model railroad.

Two-part set with a unique look

The set consists of two 2-axle Kbs wagons from the Austrian Federal Railways, loaded with steel girders. The load has been aged by hand, giving each model an individual look. The cars have NEM 355 couplers with close coupler linkages and can be ideally combined with other steel transport cars or matching ÖBB freight locomotives.

Ideal for operational dioramas and authentic train formations

With an overall length of 172 mm, the set fits perfectly in operational dioramas, sidings or in longer block trains with steel profile loads. In combination with set 1 (e.g. item no. 6660142), prototypical steel trains of Era IV can be put together.
