Are you looking for a versatile flat car for your freight trains of the 1970s and 80s? With the German Federal Railroad's Kbs stake wagon - including a 40-foot container - Fleischmann provides a flexible and prototypical model for your N-gauge layout in Era IV.
The stake wagons of the Kbs class were real all-rounders in freight traffic on the German Federal Railroad. With their folding or plug-in stanchions, they were suitable for long materials such as wood and steel as well as - as here - for container transport. In the 1970s, they were increasingly adapted for intermodal transport.
Fleischmann supplies the model in a finely detailed version with an attached 40-foot container - a rare but particularly interesting application in Era IV. The car has NEM 355 couplers with close coupler link for reliable operation and realistic car transitions.
With a length over buffers of 86 mm, the wagon is compact enough for smaller layouts, but at the same time can be used universally - from shunting operations to international freight trains. It looks particularly harmonious behind DB diesel locomotives such as the BR 216 or electric locomotives such as the BR 140 and BR 151.
The Fleischmann 6660161 stake wagon with container brings flexibility and historical authenticity to your Era IV model railroad. Now available in the model railroad store!
