Are you looking for a compact and reliable steam locomotive for branch line and shunting service on your layout? The class 92.5-10 of the German Federal Railroad is based on the Prussian T 13 and brings classic steam technology to your N scale with fine details, a bell-type armature motor and digital option - ideal for eras III and IV.
Between 1910 and 1916, over 500 examples of the T 13 were built for the Prussian State Railways. Classified as class 92.5-10 on the Deutsche Reichsbahn from 1925, many of these robust locomotives also ended up on the Deutsche Bundesbahn. They were in service there until 1965 - most recently at the Kassel depot.
Fleischmann supplies the locomotive with finely crafted lines on the boiler, a clear view between the boiler and running gear as well as prototypical paintwork. A maintenance-free bell-type armature motor ensures excellent running characteristics. The Next18 interface allows easy digitization for modern layouts.
The locomotive has four powered axles, one of which has traction tires, and a flywheel for smooth running. The LED headlights, which are dependent on the direction of travel, also ensure a harmonious appearance in analog operation. With a length of just 69 mm, it is ideal for tight radii and confined layout areas.
The Fleischmann 7160034 steam locomotive is the perfect choice for anyone looking for classic shunting locomotives with modern drive technology in N scale. Now available in the model railroad store!
