Are you looking for an operational museum locomotive for your N scale layout? The 23 076 of the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij (VSM) brings nostalgic steam operation to modern Era VI - with authentic sound functions, movable Heusinger control and true-to-original design as a museum engine.
Between 1950 and 1959, the Deutsche Bundesbahn built 105 class 23 locomotives for passenger train service. The 23 076 was later taken over by the Dutch VSM and is still in service there today - as is its sister locomotive 23 071.
Fleischmann has converted the 23 076 into an operational Era VI museum locomotive. The model has movable Heusinger control, fine lettering, LED lighting and a built-in Next18 sound decoder with realistic steam sound effects. Operation is digital (DC).
With two powered axles, two traction tires, flywheel mass and precise control, the model runs smoothly even on tight radii from 192 mm. The locomotive is equipped with an NEM 355 shaft (without KK kinematics) and an in-house coupling.
The Fleischmann 7170027 steam locomotive 23 076 brings nostalgic charm and historical technology to your modern model railroad. Now available in the model railroad store - for steam operation with character!
