Are you looking for an impressive war locomotive from the post-war period for your Era III layout? The German Federal Railroad class 52 5365 with tub tender and digital sound brings an important piece of railroad history to your layout in compact N scale - perfect for realistic train services in the 1950s.
The class 52 was built as a war locomotive from 1942 in over 7,000 units - with the lowest possible use of materials and a simple design. After the war, these locomotives continued to shape the image of many railroad stations, especially in freight traffic. DB continued to use them for a long time during reconstruction. The locomotive 52 5365 shown here has a distinctive tub tender and typical post-war design.
Fleischmann has provided the model with numerous details, including a leading wheel set with disk wheels and a neatly printed tub tender. The factory-fitted NEM 651 sound decoder provides authentic steam locomotive sounds. The LED headlights change depending on the direction of travel. The model is also Z21 cab compatible.
A 3-pole motor drives two axles, two traction tires provide sufficient traction. The locomotive is equipped with an NEM 355 coupler without close coupler link and can handle radii from 192 mm. The model is ideal for freight trains or transfer runs on branch and main lines.
The Fleischmann 7170038 BR 52 5365 brings authentic wartime and post-war freight traffic to your N-gauge layout. Now available in the model railroad store - a must for historically oriented model railroaders!
