From express train test to private railroad freight locomotive

The locomotive was put into operation in 1975 as 110 831 on the Deutsche Reichsbahn and converted to the more powerful class 112 in 1988. After being taken out of service by Deutsche Bahn as 202 831 in 1998, it was extensively rebuilt by Alstom in Stendal. Since 2008, it has been operating for HVLE under the designation V 160.6 - one of the many modernized old diesel locomotives that are still reliably hauling freight today.

Detailed model realization with metal frame

The model is equipped with a robust die-cast metal chassis, which ensures very smooth running and solid tractive power. Particularly striking are the delicate railings on the sides, which give the locomotive a prototypical appearance. LED headlights change between white and red depending on the direction of travel - a modern feature that combines functionality and appearance.

With a length over buffers of just 87 mm, the locomotive is perfect for compact N-gauge layouts. Thanks to four powered axles, two traction tires and a flywheel, it offers excellent running characteristics - even at low speeds and on tight radii from 192 mm.
