Are you looking for a powerful large diesel locomotive from the GDR for your Era III layout? The V 180 206 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn impresses with its striking appearance, technical sophistication and universal usability - finely detailed on a scale of 1:160 and ideal for branch lines and main lines!
The V 180 series was the largest diesel locomotive ever developed and built in the GDR. Initially with four axles, a six-axle variant was also produced later, which includes the V 180 206. Thanks to an axle mass of only 15.6 t, this locomotive could even be used on branch lines and steep gradients - an absolutely unique feature among large diesel locomotives.
Fleischmann presents the model in the 6-axle version with a single belly bandage, as it was at the Grunewald depot of the Berlin regional depot in 1982. The locomotive has numerous separately applied details and is neatly painted. The tail light can be switched using a DIP switch - ideal for use in push-pull or solo operation.
A powerful 3-pole motor drives four axles, two of which have traction tires. A flywheel mass ensures smooth running. LED headlights with direction change round off the equipment. The locomotive is prepared for optional digitization with a Next18 interface.
The Fleischmann 7360038 V180.2 is the perfect choice for realistic freight and passenger traffic on secondary and main lines in Era III. Now available in the model railway store - for DR fans and friends of powerful diesel traction!
