With the Fleischmann 7370001 Beilhack snow blower in N scale (N gauge), Fleischmann presents an unusual and feature-rich replica of a modern Deutsche Bahn AG (DBAG) railroad service vehicle from Era VI. This model is equipped with a powerful digital decoder and sound, which makes the experience of clearing snow on your layout particularly vivid. The Beilhack snow blower not only impresses with its detailing, but also with its high technical functionality, which authentically reflects the operational power of the real high-performance snow blower.
Snow blowers and other rail service vehicles are indispensable for smooth rail traffic in snowy regions. The Beilhack snow blower was developed to replace the older steam-powered models and, thanks to three powerful twelve-cylinder diesel engines from Daimler, each with an output of 405 kW, offers a snow clearing capacity that can cope with snow heights of up to three meters. It is approved for travel at speeds of up to 120 km/h and has a 180° rotating ring that enables it to turn in the tightest of spaces. This self-propelled snow blower has been specially designed for use in difficult weather conditions in the Alps, in the Allgäu region and abroad.
The model of the Beilhack snow blower from Fleischmann is accurate in detail and of a high technical standard. It is equipped with a DCC decoder with sound, which produces realistic operating noises and brings the model to life acoustically. A flywheel mass ensures smooth running characteristics, which provides additional stability, especially when shunting slowly. The locomotive has 3 headlights depending on the direction of travel and two tail lights to provide authentic lighting on the model railway layout.
