The Fleischmann 7370033 brings concentrated diesel power with digital sound to your N-gauge layout: The V 160.6 of the Havelländische Eisenbahn (HVLE) combines the robust technology of East German design with modern equipment for contemporary freight traffic. With the finest platform railings, die-cast metal frame, digitally switchable light including shunting light and realistic engine sound, this model is a real operating star of Era VI.
This locomotive was put into service by the Deutsche Reichsbahn in 1975 as 110 831 and later converted to the more powerful BR 112. After being decommissioned by DB as 202 831 in 1998, it was rebuilt by Alstom in Stendal. Since 2008, it has been part of the HVLE fleet in its striking orange design - a typical story of many powerful old diesel locomotives in modern freight traffic.
The model is equipped with a digital decoder (Next18) and offers realistic sound functions for an authentic driving experience. In digital operation, the headlights/tail lights and an additional shunting light can be switched separately. The LED technology ensures high luminosity and long-lasting lighting. Finely applied details such as gray grab rails and filigree platform railings round off the appearance.
The model has a heavy die-cast metal chassis, four driven axles, two traction tires and a flywheel - for smooth, powerful handling even on tight radii from 192 mm. The compact length of 87 mm makes the locomotive ideal for smaller layouts or for use in shunting areas. Thanks to the NEM 355 coupling shaft with close coupling kinematics, it can be used flexibly.
The Fleischmann 7370033 HVLE V 160.6 diesel locomotive is a powerful, digital all-rounder for N scale - now available in the model railway store and ready for real scenes of operation on your Epoch VI layout!
