Are you looking for an impressive large diesel locomotive for your Era III layout in N scale? The V 180 206 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn in a six-axle version brings the engineering skills of the GDR to your tracks - implemented in great detail, digitally equipped with sound and cab lighting.
The V 180 series was the largest diesel locomotive developed in the GDR. While the early variants were built with four axles, the six-axle version impressed with its exceptionally low axle mass of just 15.6 tons. This meant that the locomotive could be used on both main and branch lines - even on steep gradients. A real all-rounder with impressive technology!
With the V 180 206, Fleischmann is presenting a locomotive with a single belly band in Era III design, based in the Grunewald depot (Berlin district). The model impresses with the finest engravings, separately applied parts, realistic paintwork and extensive digital equipment including sound and light functions.
It is driven by four axles, two of which have traction tires. Flywheel mass, LED headlights with direction of travel change, separately switchable marker lights and digitally switchable cab lighting ensure a harmonious overall appearance. The locomotive is fully digitally equipped with a Next18 decoder.
The Fleischmann 7370038 V180.2 is a must for DR enthusiasts and Era III fans. Now available in the model railway store - for realistic freight and passenger train services on your N layout!
