About the model: The class 147 electric locomotive is a Deutsche Bahn AG model and is from Era VI. The model is powered by 4 axles and has 2 traction tires. It is factory-equipped with a Next18 digital decoder. All further details about this detailed model can be found under the features.
About the prototype: The TRAXX3 from Bombardier differs significantly from its predecessors, and not just because of the newly designed locomotive body. For the first time, the sides of an electric locomotive have been fitted with a device for clamping tarpaulins on which advertising can be attached. In 2014, the first 20 class 147 locomotives (type P160 AC3), specially adapted to the requirements of local transport, were delivered to DB Regio. With an output of 5,600 kW and a top speed of 160 km/h, they have also been in service in Berlin and Brandenburg since 2018.
