Description

By 2022, the 18 BLS Re 465 locomotives will have been modernized and repainted. Suitable multiple control systems will be installed to enable the use of Vectron and Traxx locomotives in freight transport. An Ethernet train backbone is also being implemented for traction of the Autotunnel and future Goldenpass trains. The previous train names will no longer be used. The work will be carried out in our own factory in Bönigen.
