Class 243 - classics with variety

The class 243 electric locomotives are the further development of the proven class 143 with a reinforced body and modern interior. They were used in various colors and services on the German rail network and are now also used by private railroads such as Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH.

Detailed model for analog operation

The Fleischmann model impresses with its finely detailed body shapes and filigree pantographs, which faithfully reproduce the striking silhouette of the prototype locomotive. The LED lighting changes depending on the direction of travel and can be switched via the DIP switch.

Robust, versatile and reliable

The model is driven by a powerful motor and has four drive axles as well as two traction tires and a flywheel mass for smooth running. The NEM 355 coupling mount with close coupling link allows realistic train formation. With a minimum track radius from 192 mm, it can also be used well on narrow N layouts.
