With the class 151 double locomotive set, Fleischmann brings two fully equipped locomotives from the Deutsche Bundesbahn to N gauge - ideal for use in front of authentic ore trains such as the legendary block trains to Peine-Salzgitter.

Class 151 - the backbone of heavy freight transportation

From the mid-1970s, the class 151 became the dominant locomotive in DB's heavy freight traffic. In double traction, the locomotives hauled the heaviest ore trains in Western Europe with train loads of up to 5,700 tons. Due to the enormous forces, only the automatic coupler (AK) was used - this special feature is also implemented in the model with the appropriate lettering.

Two-part locomotive set with a high level of detail

The set contains the 151 094-0 and 151 117-9 locomotives - both fully motorized, with LED headlights (depending on the direction of travel) and numerous separately attached plug-in parts. The paintwork and printing are prototypical and include AK coupling markings for realistic block train representations.

Technically strong for analog operation

Each locomotive is equipped with a 3-pole motor, four driven axles, two traction tires and a flywheel. Both models can be digitally upgraded via the NEM 651 interface if required. With an overall length of 244 mm, the locomotives are ideal for use on main and branch lines.
