Fleischmann 7560090 N E-Lok 1931 NVBS Ep.VI Product Details

Description

Are you looking for a G-scale electric locomotive with a special anniversary design and a story behind it?

The Fleischmann 7560090 1931 Electric Locomotive from Rail Force One combines Dutch railway enthusiasm with a special occasion: the 95th anniversary of the Dutch Society of Railway and Tram Enthusiasts, or NVBS for short. This Era VI model features intricate decals in the association’s anniversary design. Delicate pantographs complement the design of the N-gauge locomotive, which was created in collaboration with Railcolor Design. Thus, the focus is not only on the locomotive itself, but also on the community of railroad enthusiasts to whom its appearance is dedicated.

An Anniversary Design for 95 Years of the NVBS

In 2026, the NVBS celebrated its 95th anniversary. The association used this milestone to raise its profile among all railroad enthusiasts. Rail Force One provided locomotive 1831 for this purpose. This collaboration gave rise to the new livery known as the NVBS/RFO 1931, which Fleischmann has incorporated into this model.

The elaborate livery makes the anniversary the defining design theme of this replica. If you appreciate models with a specific connection to special events, this version offers a clear historical context. It commemorates the existence of a company whose very name embodies a passion for railroads and streetcars.

From the Former Nazi Locomotive 1831 to the NVBS/RFO 1931

Behind this anniversary edition lies a story involving dedicated participants. The former NS locomotive provided by Rail Force One had previously been in service in the colors of the now-defunct company Locon. In early December 2025, a group of NVBS volunteers patiently removed the vinyl wrap from the locomotive. It was then given its new livery as the NVBS/RFO 1931.

The number 1931 was deliberately chosen: it refers to the year the NVBS was founded. The new designation thus establishes a direct link between the locomotive and the history of the company. The official European vehicle number, however, remained unchanged. This distinction is a key part of the prototype’s history: the anniversary livery introduced a new visible designation but did not change the official vehicle number.

Elaborate Decals and Delicate Pantographs

The Fleischmann model focuses on bringing the NVBS anniversary design to life. The intricate printing captures the distinctive appearance of the Rail-Force-One locomotive and gives this version its character. It is complemented by delicately crafted pantographs. Thus, in addition to admiring the design of the locomotive body, it is also worth taking a closer look at these details on the roof.

The collaboration with Railcolor Design is also one of the explicitly highlighted features of the Fleischmann 7560090. Several factors come together to make this a compelling choice for your model collection: a specific anniversary occasion, a deliberately chosen locomotive number, and the elaborate execution of the design.

A special addition to your Era VI collection

Do you collect Dutch railroad models or are you interested in locomotives with unique designs? The Fleischmann 1931 electric locomotive brings both themes together. Its connection to Rail Force One, the NVBS, and the 2026 anniversary year makes it an interesting addition to a N-gauge collection focused on these themes.
