Are you looking for a real highlight for your Era VI layout? The electric locomotive 243 822-4 from Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH (EBS), known as the "White Lady", brings a touch of GDR nostalgia to the modern model railway world with its iconic design - including digitally switchable light and sound functions.
The nickname "White Lady" goes back to the white and red livery of the production prototype 212 001 (later 243 001). This striking livery became an icon of the East German 143/243 series and has now been revived on locomotive 243 822-4 (formerly 143 822), which is owned by Fahrzeugwerk Karsdorf and used by EBS - a real eye-catcher on German rails.
The model from Fleischmann impresses with detailed printing, the finest engravings and precisely fitting plug-in parts. The LED headlights change depending on the direction of travel and, like the sound, can be controlled via the built-in digital decoder (NEM 651). The white body with red stripes is true to the original - a must for collectors and fans of East German locomotive technology.
A 3-pole motor with flywheel mass ensures powerful, smooth running. Four axles are driven, two of them with traction tires. The locomotive is suitable for all common digital control centers and is equipped with an NEM 355 coupler and close coupler link - ideal for tight spaces with a radius of 192 mm or more.
The Fleischmann 7570075 BR 243 in the "White Lady" livery is a real eye-catcher in your collection and combines a look steeped in history with modern technology. Now available in the model railroad store!
