Re 4/4 II - SBB train horse

With 277 units built, the Re 4/4 II was the backbone of SBB's electric operation. The 11181 shown here belongs to the second construction series and was given the eye-catching "Zugkraft Aargau" design - an advertising campaign to promote public transportation and the economic area in the canton of Aargau. After the logos were removed, the locomotive remained in service until the end of 2004.

Realized true to the original with many highlights

The model impresses with the finest etched parts (e.g. windshield wipers), separately applied details and filigree pantographs. The striking design of the advertising locomotive has been faithfully reproduced. A closed front apron is included. In digital mode, the headlights/tail lights and driver's cab lighting can be switched individually. The factory-installed Next18 sound decoder provides additional realism.
