Are you looking for a modern multi-system locomotive for international freight traffic? The DB Schenker Rail Scandinavia class 185 402-5 brings Scandinavian-German freight traffic realistically to your N-gauge layout - technically mature, digital with sound and prototypically designed.
The 185.2 series belongs to the second generation of TRAXX locomotives from Bombardier. The dual-system locomotives are suitable for operation under 15 kV/16.7 Hz and 25 kV/50 Hz alternating current. The first locomotives were delivered to Deutsche Bahn in 2005. The locomotive 185 402-5 was the result of a locomotive exchange with the Swedish company Green Cargo and is now owned by DB Schenker Rail Deutschland, but is used under the Railion Scandinavia brand.
Fleischmann has produced this model with filigree pantographs, finely engraved body parts and realistic paintwork. The LED headlights depend on the direction of travel and can be switched in digital mode. The factory-fitted Next18 sound decoder ensures a realistic driving experience.
A powerful 5-pole motor drives all four axles, supported by two traction tires and a flywheel mass for particularly smooth running characteristics. The locomotive is equipped with NEM 355 couplers with close coupler link and can also be used on tight radii from 192 mm without any problems.
The Fleischmann 7570085 Class 185 402 is ideal for international freight trains and cross-border operation. Now available in the model railroad store - for modern logistics connections between Germany and Scandinavia!
