Fleischmann 7770006 N railcar ICE-T, BR 411, DBAG, Ep.VI, DC-Sound Product Details

Description

In 1994, Deutsche Bahn AG ordered multiple-unit trains with tilting technology from a consortium consisting of Bombardier, Deutscher Waggonbau, DUEWAG, Fiat and Siemens in order to be able to connect winding routes to the ICE network. The individual carriages and components were manufactured in different factories. Due to the success of the concept, the order was increased again and the success of the ICE-T multiple unit train made it an important part of long-distance fleets. It was important to the then still young DB AG Group to usher in a new era of long-distance transportation with the new ICE-T and ICE 3 multiple units. The new and innovative design was intended to make passengers immediately notice that this was a completely new generation of vehicles, and the Group imposed correspondingly few specifications on the designers at the time. It is therefore not surprising that the multiple units of the 411 and 415 series are still contemporary vehicles today, which have already undergone several successful redesigns. With a top speed of 230 km/h, they still meet the requirements of the ICE network today and enjoy a high level of reliability.
