The class 642 diesel multiple unit (Siemens Desiro Classic) has been in service on German branch lines for many years. The 642 039 version in the colors of the Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB) serves routes along the Baltic Sea coast and provides modern regional connections even without overhead wires - a typical scene in Era VI rail traffic.

Detailed model with digital sound

The two-car multiple unit is elaborately printed, has inset windows, interior fittings and an integrated die-cast metal chassis in both cars. The sound decoder (NEM 651) provides realistic background noise, while the LED headlights change depending on the direction of travel. The vehicles are connected to each other via a Jakobs bogie guided by a scenery guide - for a prototypical look.
