About the model: The 2 class S "Augsburg" rail transport cars are of the German State Railroad design and are from Era II. The load consists of rail sections.
About the prototype: The Prussian State Railroad had already procured so-called rail transport cars with a load length of 13 m - initially to transport the 12 m long rails at that time. A rail transport wagon was also constructed by the individual state railroads as a "group design" and procured in several thousand units between 1911 and 1926.
