The Martinair Flight Academy is a subsidiary of the airline of the same name from the Netherlands. Initially founded by Martin Schröder as Reclamair, the two Piper Super Cubs operated at the time were used for towing advertising banners. With the move to the newly built Lelystad Airport in 1974, Reclamair became the Martinair Flight Academy, which now also offered pilot training courses with an expanded fleet. For many years, three Cessna 172s were used for flight training.
Herpa presents here with the article number 019477 the aircraft model of a Cessna 172 which was realized in great detail.
