The Herpa 319256 is a modern model vehicle that authentically transfers the current trend towards electric mobility in the heavy goods sector to H0 scale. The Volvo FH GL XL Electric semi-trailer truck in operation for the traditional Danish company Ancotrans pulls a 40ft Highcube refrigerated container in the current CAI design. This combination of modern electric drive and international container logistics makes the model a particularly contemporary component of any model layout.
Founded in Copenhagen in 1882, Ancotrans is today one of the leading providers in the container transport sector. With a fleet of around 850 trucks and over 350,000 transport movements per year, the entire international traffic is coordinated via nine European locations. The company is also increasingly relying on vehicles with alternative drive systems - such as this Volvo FH Electric in the striking Ancotrans design.
The semi-trailer of the model is equipped with a current 40ft Highcube refrigerated container from the fleet of the internationally active leasing company CAI. The container is printed in the latest design and complements the modern appearance of the articulated truck. The high level of detail and the realistic color scheme underline the high quality of this model.
The model combines the streamlined design of the Volvo FH GL XL Electric with Ancotrans' characteristic corporate colors. In combination with the refrigerated container, the result is an image that fits perfectly with international container terminals, port scenes or forwarding facilities on modern model railway layouts. The vehicle is a progressive example of sustainable freight transport on a scale of 1:87.
The Herpa 319256 Volvo FH GL XL Electric Container Semi-Trailer "Ancotrans/CAI" is the perfect choice for all model builders who want to realistically depict current developments in freight transport on their layout. With a focus on sustainability, international logistics and modern vehicle technology, this model combines history and the future in a remarkable way.
