Pure realism for your freight trains: The aged set of 2 Taggnpps silo wagons from SBB Cargo brings heavy commodity traffic in Switzerland to the layout in N scale. With finely applied signs of ageing and numerous applied details, these wagons are a real highlight for modern block train representations of Era VI.
The two wagons impress with their high-quality reproduction of the stainless steel surfaces with precise engravings and clean printing. Particularly impressive is the realistic operational soiling, which was applied by hand and gives each wagon an individual character. Numerous attached parts such as ladders, walkways and flaps ensure an excellent appearance on the layout.
The set is equipped with NEM shafts and close coupler link, which ensures prototypical car spacing and stable running characteristics. The cars have an analog design and are ideal for operation in block trains or as part of themed freight trains for modern rail logistics.
SBB Cargo has been using Taggnpps 31 silo wagons since 2002, originally for the transportation of sugar. These wagons with stainless steel tanks were later also used for other sensitive bulk goods such as cocoa. Today, they mainly run between the port of Amsterdam and processing plants in Switzerland - usually in impressive block trains.
The set is fully compatible with all common N-gauge track systems in 2-conductor direct current format. It can be ideally combined with other silo cars, modern electric locomotives such as the Re 474 or Vectron, as well as with international freight car material from Era VI.
This set is perfect for model railroaders with a penchant for realistic operational representations and modern freight traffic scenarios. The aged wagons not only offer visual appeal, but also a high level of operational reliability and a wide variety of details - ideal for operating railway enthusiasts, showcase fans and SBB fans.
