Are you looking for a British brake car for your TT:120 freight trains that pairs especially well with rail service and engineering trains? The Hornby TT6092 TT Brake Car 731833, BR, Ep. IV depicts an LMS 20-metric-ton brake car in olive-green BR rail service livery and is a brand-new model for 2026.
The model depicts car No. DM731833 in BR engineers’ olive green livery. With its accurately reproduced, plank-sided car body, numerous separately applied parts, and distinctive railway service design, this brake car is an excellent addition to British freight and work trains.
The 20-metric-ton brake cars based on LMS and BR prototypes were spacious accompanying cars for freight trains. The model impresses with its prototypical car body detailing and many individually attached components such as handrails, steps, running boards, buffers, and ballast weights.
Thanks to the NEM kinematic couplers, the car is ready for use on the layout. The specified minimum radius is the second radius, allowing the brake car to integrate well into existing TT:120 freight train formations.
