The IGRA Faccs self-unloading wagon with the item number 96500002 brings the freight traffic of the former Czechoslovakia in TT scale authentically to your model railway layout. This finely detailed model represents a typical vehicle of Era IV and impresses with technical sophistication as well as a striking historical reference to the ČSD railroad company.
The real-life model of this wagon was developed in 1967 in the traditional wagon factory in Česká Lípa. The design was based on many years of experience with the Sa 26 and Sav 28 self-unloading wagons. Series production began as early as 1970 - initially with 1650 units, later followed by around 4000 more vehicles until 1982. A special version of 400 wagons was fitted with a roof to protect sensitive goods from the weather.
With a length over buffers of 107 mm and a scale of 1:120, the model offers excellent proportions for all TT layouts. The stable construction with Peho bushes and metal wheel sets ensures excellent running characteristics and long-lasting operational reliability - ideal for extended routes or shunting operations.
The car number 31 54 699 7 512-4 assigned to the model as well as the paintwork and lettering correspond exactly to the prototype of the ČSD in Era IV. The model is particularly flexible thanks to two loading area options - optionally made of wood or steel - and the choice between versions with or without a roof. This allows the wagon to be ideally adapted to individual scenarios.
Thanks to the TT-compatible design, the wagon can be seamlessly integrated into existing layouts. In combination with other ČSD freight wagons from Era IV or matching locomotives, a realistic and atmospheric overall picture of historical freight traffic in the former Czechoslovakia is created.
The IGRA 96500002 Faccs self-unloading wagon is the perfect choice for model railroaders who want to enrich their layout with authentic vehicles from Era IV. Technically sophisticated, visually realistic and with a historical reference, this model is a valuable addition to any TT collection.
