The Railpool Vectron 193 813 has sported an eye-catching livery since March 2022. Designer Mathias Oestreich created a unique first: DB advertising on a private-railway locomotive. Previously, the 193 813 had been in service for Flixtrain and the Alpen-Sylt-Express, among others.

Today, the locomotive is available for lease and is primarily used to haul freight trains for various rail operators. Its certification for Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Romania makes it a versatile, modern Epoch VI electric locomotive.

AC sound with modern lighting technology

The model is a new design and features a metal locomotive body. Attention to all design variations ensures a prototypical representation. With sound, digital features, and a PluX22 interface, the locomotive is ideally prepared for modern 3L AC operation.

The lighting cycles through white/red or red/white. Additionally, the model features digitally controllable high beams, a switchable tail light, and digitally controllable cab lighting. The LED lighting provides a clear and long-lasting lighting effect.

With a length over buffers of 219 mm, the Vectron has a strong presence in H0 scale. The minimum negotiable radius is 358 mm. The NEM-compliant coupler housing with KK kinematics allows for seamless integration into modern freight train and train formations.
