A classic DRG model in green brings the historic atmosphere of electric locomotives to your H0 layout. The Jägerndorfer Collection JC21500 H0 E88.0 Electric Locomotive, DRG, Era II is an excellent choice for model railroaders who want to expand their fleet with a distinctive electric locomotive from the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft.
The E88.0 is an excellent fit for historic Era II layouts and complements train formations with a classic Reichsbahn character. The green color scheme underscores its period-appropriate appearance and makes the locomotive a harmonious eye-catcher when paired with matching passenger or freight cars.
As an electric locomotive, this model is particularly well-suited for track sections with overhead wire operation, historic stations, and layout areas featuring early electric train operations. As a result, the locomotive adds an interesting technical and visual variety to the H0 fleet.
The model is designed for the 2L DC system and is supplied without a digital decoder or sound. The red-and-white light pattern creates an authentic lighting effect during operation, while LED bulbs provide modern and long-lasting illumination.
The NEM-compliant coupler shaft with KK kinematics allows for seamless integration into compatible train sets. This enables the E88.0 to be flexibly combined with Era II cars and integrated into classic DRG scenes.
Enhance your H0 layout with the Jägerndorfer Collection JC21500 E88.0 electric locomotive and create historic electric locomotive scenes with a green DRG look and an authentic Era II feel.
