Description

A special feature of the KATO turnouts are the very flat underfloor drives. The turnouts conceal an extremely robust and powerful solenoid coil drive. Thanks to the special design, the turnouts nevertheless remain very low and look true to the original.

The electric points are supplied with power via a 2-pole connection cable. They are set using the points switch, item no. 78500, to which the points cable can be conveniently connected thanks to a plug system. Any number of points switches can be placed next to each other. However, a rectifier Art. no. 78505 must be plugged in before the first switch in order to convert the alternating current from the transformer into direct current. Incidentally, the parallel track spacing is 33 mm.

The limit switching of the point machines is carried out via the point switch 78500! The current consumption during the switching process is 0.5 A.
