Description

This newly developed ballast processing machine from Plasser & Theurer has 2 types of drive - electric and diesel-electric (hybrid) - via a 600 kW diesel engine for power generation. The traction motors and hydraulics are always electrically driven. The electric drive enables low-maintenance, low-noise and low-emission operation (CO₂-reduced). The pioneering design is essentially based on function and occupational safety. The model is largely based on the original in terms of design and function. The kit is a complete mold novelty and has been developed from the Viessmann functional model Art. 2670. It is a very high quality and decorative model, equipped with metal wheel sets and die-cast zinc chassis and therefore has very good rolling characteristics.
