You will like the unusually delicate track profile at first glance: For the first time, a profile height of just 1.8 mm suitable for the 1:120 scale is being used for a track system in large-scale production. Very low and narrow and yet fully compatible with existing rolling stock (with NEM wheelsets)! The spring steel rail connectors in conjunction with the high-quality nickel silver rail profile ensure very good current conduction. The sleepers have the classic wood grain. This means that both modern and earlier eras can be reproduced.

The special feature of the geometry of the kuehn-modell track is the small number of different track elements. No countless compensating pieces are required within turnout lines. This is achieved by using two straight tracks of different lengths, 128 mm and 121 mm, and our precisely matched turnout geometry. We are starting the track range with compact turnout shapes that make it possible to build fascinating turnout routes even where space is limited. Existing features such as platforms etc. have been taken into account - after all, proven model railroad accessories should be able to be used directly. To familiarize yourself with the sympathetic track geometry, simply download the track pattern sheet here. Print out the sample drawings several times, preferably on cardboard. Try out the various track elements to your heart's content on a smooth surface. You will be surprised how easy it is to create complicated track layouts with the kuehn-modell track.
