Description

The BM2 not only allows the train to stop at "Hp 0" in front of the signal, but also offers the installation of a slow speed section for "Hp 2". The section in front of the signal is divided into a driving section and a braking section. The length of the driving section must be dimensioned so that the longest train running there fits in completely. The length of the braking section depends (as with the BM1) on the set braking deceleration or the set braking distance. The driving and braking sections are supplied by the corresponding outputs of the BM2. So that pushed trains can also be influenced with the BM2, the leading carriage of the pushed train must be provided with a power consumer (e.g. lighting of the carriage). In this way, the driving trailer is equipped with head and tail lights that change with the direction of travel. The BM2 also ensures that no braking process is triggered when the train travels in the opposite direction.
