Are you looking for a diesel locomotive full of character from the German Federal Railroad era for your 0-gauge layout? The Lenz 40110-01 V36 214 brings a piece of German railroad history from Era III directly to your model railroad - technically up to date and visually a true classic.
The V36 214 was based in the Lübeck depot of the BD Hamburg and was used in Heiligenhafen, among other places - a typical picture on branch lines and small stations in the 1950s and 60s. Its area of use ranged from transfer trains to light shunting services. The model reproduces this locomotive in its classic DB design with fine detailing and authentic lettering.
The locomotive has three powered axles, which ensures reliable traction - even for longer trains. With its functional details such as interior lighting, driver's cab equipment and constant light image, it provides an all-round convincing representation. The direction-dependent light change and the digitally remote-controlled coupler further enhance the realism.
The model is equipped with a fully-fledged sound decoder and offers true-to-original engine noises, signal horns and other acoustic highlights. Thanks to RailCom, modern feedback is possible. The locomotive automatically detects operation in analogue or digital mode and is equipped with a USP function (uninterruptible power supply) for particularly reliable operation.
With a length over buffers of 232 mm, the V36 fits perfectly into branch line scenarios, smaller stations or authentic freight traffic. The high-quality workmanship, metal wheelsets, spring buffers and retrofittable screw couplers make it a real highlight for any 1:45 scale Era III layout.
