Description

The Lenz 40280-03 0 steam locomotive BR 80 034 is a precise replica of the robust tender shunting locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, which were built as part of the standard steam locomotive program from 1927 to 1929. This model is set in Era IIIb and shows the class 80 034 of the BD Nuremberg, Schweinfurt depot.

The class 80 was in service with the DB until 1965 and with the DR until 1981. These locomotives were used as works locomotives in the coal and steel industry until 1977. Today, seven examples of these striking machines are still in service.
