Description

The Lenz 40280-07 0 steam locomotive BR 80 RAG is a detailed replica of the robust tender shunting locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. This locomotive, which was built between 1927 and 1929 as part of the standard steam locomotive program, is depicted here as RAG works locomotive no. 14 in Era IV.

The class 80 locomotives were in service with the DB until 1965 and with the DR until 1981. They were used as works locomotives in the coal and steel industry until 1977. Seven of these historic locomotives are still in service today.
