The Lenz 40280-08 0 steam locomotive BR 80 KBAG is a precise replica of the powerful tender shunting locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, which were built between 1927 and 1929 as part of the standard steam locomotive program. This model represents the class 80 as KBAG works locomotive 5 in Era IV.

The class 80 locomotives were in service with the DB until 1965 and with the DR until 1981. They were used as works locomotives in the coal and steel industry until 1977. Seven of these locomotives are still in service today.
