Originally designed for the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), the series was adopted in many European countries from the year 2000 - including by Deutsche Bahn AG. The 182 018-2 locomotive presented here is in the service of DB Regio and represents the modern local transport service in Era VI. Based on the proven MTH model, this version has been extensively revised and equipped with the latest technology.
