The BR 141, formerly E41, is one of the classic standard electric locomotives of the German Federal Railroad. It was continuously developed over the years - from 1960 and from locomotive number E41 121 with the characteristic double lamps. The much-requested model variant with twin lamps is now available - as a detailed 0-gauge model of the locomotive 141 317-8 in Era IV design. Delivery will take place shortly.
The model has four powered axles, robust metal wheel sets, spring buffers and an illuminated driver's cab. The length over buffers is 348 mm. The light functions include constant light, direction-dependent light change and a separately switchable rear light - ideal for realistic representations when driving.
The locomotive is equipped with digital/analog recognition, RailCom support, a powerful sound decoder, two remote-controlled pantographs and remote-controlled couplers. This makes it ideal for use on digitally controlled 0-gauge layouts and meets the highest demands in terms of function and authenticity.
As an all-round locomotive for local and regional services, the class 141 was used on many German Federal Railroad lines. The 141 317-8 version with double lamps perfectly reflects the design and technical development of this generation of locomotives. An indispensable locomotive for every Era IV layout with a focus on authentic DB operation.
With the class 141 317-8, Lenz brings an outstanding model with top technical performance and prototypical implementation to the rails. A highlight for gauge 0 railroaders and Bundesbahn fans - now available at short notice!
