Are you looking for a colorful and functional coach for your Era IV trains in 0 scale? The Lenz 41302-01 ARm 216 half dining car from the German Federal Railroad brings the well-known "Kakadu" paint scheme (RAL 3004 wine red / RAL 5013 cobalt blue) to your layout - and combines 2nd class seating with a dining area in a single car.
The ARm 216 was a typical representative of the semi-dining carriages found in many express and inter-zone trains of Era IV. The eye-catching two-tone paintwork gave the trains a modern, friendly appearance and made the carriages immediately recognizable - popular with passengers and model railway enthusiasts alike.
The model impresses with an elaborately designed interior with dining and seating area, constant light and flicker-free lighting thanks to current pick-up at the wheel bearings. Metal wheelsets, spring buffers, kinematics and close coupler kinematics ensure excellent running characteristics and a secure connection in the train set.
Thanks to the NEM shaft and retrofittable screw coupler, the car is ideally suited for both classic and modern model railroad systems. The USP function (uninterruptible power supply) ensures that the lighting remains stable even during short power interruptions - ideal for demanding and realistic model railroad scenarios.
Whether as an eye-catcher in a train formation or as the operational centerpiece of your composition - the ARm 216 adds a particularly characterful vehicle to your layout. For model railroaders with a love of detail and a soft spot for the typical color scheme of the 1970s, this half dining car is a real must-have.
