Are you looking for a typical 2nd class car for your DB express train composition in 0 scale? The Lenz 41311-01 B4üm-63 is a classic representative of the standard design of the German Federal Railroad from Era 3b - in a true-to-original design and classic chrome oxide green (RAL 6020), as it was commonplace on the lines of the 1960s.
The B4üm-63 was one of the most widely used coaches on the Bundesbahn's long-distance services. With its clear layout, comfortable second-class compartments and proven design, it shaped the image of many D trains and inter-zone trains. The green livery makes it the ideal vehicle for authentic train sets of the time.
The car impresses with its finely detailed interior, flicker-free constant lighting and realistic appearance on a scale of 1:45. The current is picked up directly at the wheel bearings and ensures reliable lighting. Metal wheel sets, spring buffers, close coupler kinematics and kinemagnetics ensure excellent running characteristics.
Thanks to the NEM shaft, the B4üm-63 is ready for immediate use. A screw coupling can be retrofitted if required. The USP function (uninterruptible power supply) ensures uniform lighting, even with short power interruptions - ideal for analog and digital layouts with demanding operating situations.
Whether as a single car or in combination with half-baggage, dining or 1st class cars - the Lenz B4üm-63 is a must for any authentic express train composition of the 50s and 60s. For model railroaders with a focus on faithfulness to the prototype, technology and design, this car is an indispensable element.
