The LGB 26450 diesel locomotive 199 018 of the Saxon-Upper Lusatian Railway Company (SOEG) is a real highlight for all fans of narrow gauge railroads in G scale. The finely detailed large-scale model is based on the Romanian locomotive type FAUR L45H and represents the modernized version of the 199 018 - exactly as it can currently be seen in operation on the Zittau narrow gauge railroad between Zittau, Oybin and Jonsdorf.

Faithful model with powerful technology

The model is equipped with an mfx/DCC sound decoder and offers numerous light and sound functions. The energy storage unit fitted as standard ensures uninterrupted operation - even with short contact interruptions. Both bogies are powered and enable stable running even on demanding routes with a minimum radius of R1 / 600 mm. The locomotive has alternating headlights in white/red, which can be switched digitally, as well as cab lighting.

Model building quality at the highest level

The model impresses with the finest detailing with many attached parts, a complete interior in the driver's cab and even cab doors that can be opened. The length over buffers is an impressive 520 mm, which gives the locomotive an imposing presence on any layout. LGB's own coupling system ensures a reliable connection to all matching cars.

Prototype from Upper Lusatia

The real locomotive 199 018 is a conversion of an originally Romanian FAUR L45H from 1983. After extensive modernization and remotorization in 2011, it has been in service as a diesel locomotive for SOEG ever since. On the Zittau narrow gauge line, it performs both regular train services as well as reserve duties - an indispensable workhorse of modern Era VI.
